A couple years later she met the love of her life, David Hagen. They enjoyed fishing together and had a cabin at Buffalo Point, Manitoba for a time. In 2016, the couple moved to Fargo.
Kathy is survived by her children, Stephanie (John) Horner and Mark (Julie) Hagen; grandchildren Amanda (Joseph) Lenk and Samantha (Riley) Knodle; step-grandchildren Darcy (Brandon) Poole and Shane (Chelsie) Horner; great-grandchildren Tobias and Adam Lenk, Cullen, Harrison, Finley, Moses and Penelope Poole, Lenora Horner and baby Knodle arriving in July; brother Wesley (Marlys) Kunz and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Hagen; parents and sisters-in-law.
